100% natural Patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin L.).
Obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. Dark yellow, sometimes brown liquid with an intense woody odour.
Its main components are Patchoulol and Pogostol. It was an icon of the 70s hippie movement, as it evoked an atmosphere of unity, warmth and a more organic and relaxed lifestyle.
With woody balsamic notes, it is widely used in cosmetics and men's perfumes.
In aromatherapy, it is used to treat anxiety, depression, stress and mental fatigue, and is also a powerful aphrodisiac.
